Cake Care And Instructions

TRANSPORT​

Make sure to keep the cake leveled when you carry the cake by placing both hands under the cake.

Keep the cake in a flat space preferably the boot or the footboard of a car (Make sure the AC is on when it is hot outside)
STORAGE

Please store the cake at room temperature in a cool place away from any direct sunlight or heating sources.

If the cake is to be served the next day, keep it in the fridge and make sure the cake comes to room temperature before serving (Most of our cake and frostings have butter. If you feel that the cake is hard, please let it come to room temperature before serving)

Cakes covered in Fondant or having fondant decoration CANNOT be kept in the fridge as condensation will happen due to the sudden changes in temperature and will result in a very wet and sticky fondant.
CUTTING THE CAKE

Remove all the non-edible decorations from the cake. Some cakes might also have dowels/ straws inside the cake for stability.

Use a long sharp knife to cut clean slices and clean it with a damp towel between cutting for a nice clean cut.
Terms of Purchase
By placing an order with Liptha's Cake Butik, you agree to the following terms. Deviations from these terms may be accommodated after a one-on-one discussion on a case-to-case basis.

PAYMENT AND ORDERING​

To place an order, please contact Liptha's Cake Butik by phone, e-mail, Instagram, or Facebook. When we have received all the details necessary regarding the order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail and a specification of order details.​

We will also send you an invoice to be paid by the latest 5 days before the collection date.​
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

If you need to cancel your order later than two days before the collection date, I would have to charge you for the expenses that were incurred for the purchase of ingredients for your cake.

If in any event, we have to cancel your order, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund any amount that has been paid.
COLLECTION AND DELIVERY

The collection of orders is according to an agreement at Liptha's Cake Butik, Dalby. Responsibility to transport and store the order correctly is transmitted to the customer after collection. Instructions regarding the transportation and handling of your order will be specified along with your order confirmation.

If you are not satisfied with your order, it has to be returned to us for inspection within two days after collection.​
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Whilst we are happy to cater to certain dietary requirements such as gluten-free or eggless cakes, we do not cater to severe or nut allergies due to health and safety risks. ​

A list of ingredients with marked allergens will be handed over at the time of collection of your order.
